Reflection to Desiderata Poem

I learned that real life is not meant for me to excel, have my desired skills and desired people around me, or to be opposing the others wrongness. I should excel in some traits and be humble while striving harder to improve most of th rest traits. I learned we humans have to stick together regardless of our differences, and others' mistakes. I must push the other's to the right instead of complaining from their ignorance. More I should be happy about my status, skills, and knowledge rather than looking on the grass in the other side of the fence.
I want to know more about the inspiration of Max Ehrmann to release such burst of knowledge and enlightenment.
I would like to research on what happened to the copyrights of the poem. Want to know more about Max.
I appreciate the fact that it really appealed to me in knowledge and personality.
I know I can apply my learning and insights everything I will do in my life.
